Are you a Data Science student eager to gain real-world experience and launch your career in the Startup Healthcare field? We are looking for a passionate Data Scientist Intern to join our growing team. You'll collaborate with experienced UX/UI Engineers, Data scientists, Data analysts and Product Managers to tackle exciting challenges using real healthcare data.
While this is an UNPAID internship, the intern will gain valuable experience
working alongside and learn from experienced professionals in product

professionals who will guide you through the entire data science lifecycle, from data acquisition and cleaning to analysis and model building.

Requirements

Position Responsibilities


• Collaborate with designers, data scientists and product managers to

understand user needs and translate them into actionable design solutions. • Strong understanding of data science models and be able to contribute to

the design, development and implementation of models

• Assist others with data acquisition, cleaning, and pre-processing tasks.

• Participate in exploratory data analysis to understand healthcare data

trends and patterns. Create data visualizations to communicate findings.

• Document design decisions and maintain a clear design system.

• Partner with the Data and Intelligence on establishing strong working

relationships with key clients and stakeholders in Healthcare, and

Operations to understand their requirements and provide impactful models.


Position Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor

's degree program in design, computer

science, or a related field.

• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R.

• Working knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying databases.

• Attend team meetings and presentations to learn from ongoing projects.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications


• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

• Familiarity with Azure/AWS cloud platforms for data storage and processing. • Understanding of healthcare data and terminology (a plus, but willingness

to learn is important).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
